About Therapy
Finding your way, whether you are struggling with a traumatic event, experiencing difficulties with relationships or facing family / work pressures, can be overwhelming. This may leave you feeling empty, disconnected and lacking in purpose. At other times you might simply want to make a change and are confused about where to start. Therapy offers a safe, confidential and compassionate space where you can talk openly and honestly about the difficulties that are impacting your life, whether those originate within yourself or are encountered when relating to others.

I see therapy as a non-prescriptive process that recognises clients may benefit from different things at different points in time. This means I engage with clients as unique individuals and adapt the therapy process to fit your needs. In our sessions I work collaboratively to explore your difficulties and concerns including the way in which past experiences and relationships can influence your way of being in your present life. Our work facilitates insight and understanding which opens up the space for new possibilities and choices leading to a more meaningful way of living life.
Alongside my individual clients, I work with couples across a diverse range of issues that are creating challenges for the relationship. Together we will explore your difficulties and how they are created including your underlying patterns of relating and what you each bring to this process. This enables reflection and understanding which paves the way for new ways of engaging and communicating with each other.
